1. What we offer

Kundli Saathi generates Vedic astrological charts and personalized written readings, publishes editorial articles on Jyotisha, and provides match-compatibility (Ashtakoot) reports. All output is delivered through our website. We do not operate phone hotlines, ritualistic services, or in-person consultations.

2. Nature of the readings — important disclaimer

Astrological readings on Kundli Saathi are provided FOR ENTERTAINMENT and CULTURAL purposes only. They are NOT a substitute for medical, financial, legal, psychological, or any other form of professional advice.

If you are facing a medical, financial, legal, or psychological situation that requires expert help, please consult a qualified professional in that field. Decisions about health, money, marriage, career, or legal matters should be made on the basis of professional advice and your own judgement, not on the basis of an astrological reading.

2a. How readings are produced (editorial process)

Each reading is produced by a large language model under the editorial direction of Kundli Saathi. The system prompt for each editorial voice (we use three: Classical Pandit, Psychological, Practical) encodes our quality and ethical rules. The model output is then reviewed by a separate "R1" reviewer model that scores it on five dimensions — classical accuracy, personalisation density, template-feel, language naturalness, and AI-detection resistance — and rejects outputs that fall below our threshold.

Cornerstone articles receive 100% human editorial review before publication. Daily horoscope and topical articles receive a 20% human spot-check. Personalised paid readings (L3/L4/L5) receive a 5% human spot-check.

We disclose this process so you can judge what you are reading. We believe AI-assisted Vedic content under disciplined editorial review is honest, valuable, and consistent — but it is not produced by a human astrologer, and we do not represent it as such.

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years of age to create an account or make a purchase on Kundli Saathi. By using the Service, you represent that you are 18 or older. We do not knowingly accept registrations or payments from minors.

4. Account and conduct

You are responsible for the accuracy of the birth details you provide; an inaccurate date, time, or place of birth produces a chart that does not correspond to you, and we cannot offer a refund on that basis.

You agree not to (a) attempt to circumvent payment, (b) scrape or republish our editorial content without permission, (c) submit comments that are unlawful, harassing, or contain personal data of third parties, (d) attempt to interfere with the Service or the LLM systems that power it.

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these rules. Where conduct is criminal under Indian law, we may also report it to the appropriate authority.

5. Pricing and payment

Current prices are listed on our pricing page. Prices are quoted in Indian Rupees (₹) and include applicable Indian GST.

Payments are processed by Razorpay. Your card or UPI data is handled directly by Razorpay on their hosted checkout — we do not see or store payment instrument details.

6. Refunds

Our Refund Policy is set out separately. In summary: refunds are available for payment errors, double charges, and technical errors that prevented a paid reading from being delivered. Refunds are not available based on disagreement with the content of an astrological reading.

7. Intellectual property

All editorial content on Kundli Saathi — including articles, persona profiles, illustrations, chart computation logic, and prompt designs — is owned by Kundli Saathi or licensed to us. You may read it on our site, share short quotations with attribution, and link to it. You may not republish, scrape into a dataset, or use it to train AI models without our prior written permission.

When you submit a comment, review, or other user-generated content to the Service, you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to host, display, edit for length and clarity, and quote that content within the Service and in our public communications. You retain copyright in what you submit; this licence merely lets us run the Service.

8. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total aggregate liability to you for any claim arising out of or relating to the Service is limited to the amount you actually paid for the specific reading or report that is the subject of the claim. We are not liable for indirect, consequential, or punitive damages.

Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019 or other applicable Indian law.

9. Governing law and jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any dispute arising out of or relating to the Service shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts in Bengaluru, Karnataka.

10. Termination

You may delete your account at any time through the account settings or by writing to us. Subject to the data retention rules in our Privacy Policy, your data will be removed after the soft-delete window.

We may terminate or suspend access to the Service for users who violate these Terms or use the Service to harm others.

11. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top reflects the most recent change. Material changes will be notified to registered users by email at least 14 days before they take effect; continued use of the Service after that date constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
